Domestic Dispute Leads To Arson

If Donna J. Duell had read the lease agreement at Community Storage Lockers, she might have known not to use an open flame inside a storage unit.

Police in Anderson, Ind., say Duell set fire to her ex-boyfriend’s clothing in an empty unit at the self storage facility. The fire engulfed the building and caused more than $100,000 in damage. She told police that she was involved in a “bitter domestic dispute.” Duell was arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire and was released from Madison County Jail after posting $20,000 bond.
