Luxury Limo Stolen
Henry Vassei’s storage unit at Security Self Storage in Dallas, Texas, contained more than the usual household items. His locked-away valuables included a luxury limo worth $57,000. In the early hours of a Sunday morning, someone stole the limo and drove away in it. There was no need to hot-wire this ride; the keys were left in the ignition.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle by Monday afternoon. It was found abandoned on the highway completely stripped of its electronics. “I’m lucky they found it,” says Vassei, “but everything is gone.”
