U-Haul Partners With U.S. Army

U-Haul has signed an agreement to partner with the U.S. Army Recruiting Command which will allow U-Haul to provide priority status to qualified members of the Army who are participating in the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program.

Under the terms of the agreement, enlistees interested in gaining specific job training and qualifications will receive that training while in the Army. Recruits may sign a statement of understanding of their interest to work for U-Haul upon completion of their term of service. As they near the end of their enlistments, these soldiers will have the opportunity to interview with U-Haul for a specific job at a specific location. U-Haul International President John “J.T.” Taylor commented, “U-Haul simply wants to give back to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Veterans have the qualities that we look for in our U-Haul team members: dedication, an excellent work ethic, and strong leadership values.”
